WHAT IS MICROBLADING.
6D Microblading (also known as hair stroke brows, microstroking and micro pigmentation) is a form of permanent makeup and is a relatively new technique of enhancing the appearance of eyebrows. Microblading is performed with the use of an ultra-thin blade. This blade is a grouping of extremely fine needles affixed to a handle to manually create clean and crisp lines that resemble eyebrow hair. Using a hand tool and blade, natural pigment is deposited into the upper dermal layer of the skin, making it semi-permanent for 1-2 years, depending on the skin type and lifestyle. This technique will give your client thin and defined hair strokes opposed to the conventional permanent makeup machine which can create a solid and unnatural ‘draw on’ look.

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a form of permanent makeup and is a relatively new technique of enhancing the natural appearance of the eyebrows. Microblading is performed with the use of an ultra-thin blade. This blade consists of the grouping of extremely fine needles which is placed into a hand held tool, manually creating clean and crisp lines that resemble eyebrow hairs.
How long does it last?

Microblading lasts 1-2 years, this all depends on your skin type and skin cell regeneration.

Does Microblading hurt?
Everyone’s level of pain tolerance differs. Most clients can barely feel anything while others find the procedure painful. However, all measures are put into place to ensure the client’s pain is eliminated as much as possible – this is done by applying numbing cream prior to the procedure and anesthetic gel is also used during the procedure.
Please note that of you are on your cycle, have had alcoholic beverages in the past 24 hours or any drinks with stimulant such as caffeine you WILL be more sensitive to the procedure.
How long does it take?

The appointment is usually 1 ½ - 2 hours long, this all depends on the clients approval of eyebrow shape drawn on by the therapist. The preparation before the procedure can take up to 1 ½ hours.
